Candice Swanepoel’s interview for the NY Post

New York posted a new interview with Candice about Tropic of C and her life in Brazil.

Now that she lives part-time in Brazil, supermodel Candice Swanepoel has her beach etiquette down pat.

“In Brazil, people take their bathroom to the beach,” says Swanepoel, who recently launched her own line of sustainable swimwear, Tropic of C. “People condition their hair on the beach. People who have hair on their thighs and arms, they bleach it on the beach. In South Africa, as a kid, if I saw people doing that, it would be weird. But there’s such a beach culture in Brazil, it’s normal.”

The Victoria’s Secret model — who is engaged to Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli and gave birth to their second son, Ariel, less than three months ago — is ready to hit the sand, based on the nude Instagram she posted last week. “Breastfeeding makes you super skinny,” she says, adding that while she doesn’t succumb to outside pressures to be thin, a photo shoot for her own swimwear line helps fuel her fitness fire. “I’ve always pushed myself a lot,” she says. “And when you’re modeling your own shoots, you want to do even better.”
